We design housing for a living. Now we build it too.
AERO Build is the development company of AERO Collective, an architecture studio on Market Street in Inglewood. Since 2015 we've designed housing across Southern California, from three-unit townhomes to 150-unit mixed-use buildings.
Why an architecture studio started building.
We kept seeing good projects stall for reasons that had nothing to do with design: financing gaps, entitlement risk, and housing types no one was willing to take on. We started AERO Build to take those projects on ourselves.
Because the architects are also the developers, every project is shaped from day one around what can be permitted, financed and built. We partner with Leavey Corporation on development and construction management.

Density bonus, streamlined approvals, small-lot subdivisions and the Welfare Tax Exemption are everyday tools for us.
Based in Inglewood
Our office is on Market Street in Downtown Inglewood. We build for the people who work in the neighborhoods around us.

Brion Moran
Cofounder with 20+ years in architecture across multifamily, mixed-use, commercial and civic work, including master planning for infill sites from 15 to 1,000 units.
Andrew Crane
Cofounded AERO Collective in 2015. Designs affordable, mixed-use and transit-oriented housing and knows zoning and density bonus programs inside out.
William Jacobs
Has managed the development of more than 700,000 SF of industrial space and 500 apartments. Leads entitlements, permitting and construction management.
